we must refrain from any predictions, since we are lacking developer power.
There are some small contributions from time to time (and we are very
grateful for every help) -- but for quite some time now, I am the only
one working on Lumiera continuously and for long term goals.

When I right now focus primarily on the GUI backbone and GUI-Proc connection,
this means that any other work on Builder, Player, Session, Render Engine
or output management ceases.

We have built up quite some code base in the last years. And we have even a
huge body of documentation and detailed, written down planning. Unfortunately
this tends to freak away people.

Probably we should not even blame anyone for being intimidated; personally
I think the most prominent phenomenon is that /those/ people with the mindset
of "doers", those that just open the box and start with reworking what's there
have largely moved on to mobile apps, the hardware and builder movement.

Anyway, I see no reason to change my commitment and will continue to work
towards our vision of a free software for professional movie editing
