That's correct - actually all three panels have been customized,
replacing the icon+label with a blender style panel drop-down menu.
As you say, that's pretty cool functionality - and it actually
simplifies the grip code by about 100 lines!
The only gotcha with adding widgets to grips, is that you have to put an
additional window under the widgets so that you can set an arrow cursor
for these, rather than it inheriting the finger cursor from the grip's
window.

That'd be a bonus - though I'm alright with the workflow that I have
right now. We have a gdl-upstream repo on our project server that
automatically syncs with the SVN, then when I pull from this repo,
that's effectively the same as "svn up", then I can rebase, and carry on
working on my various gdl branches e.g bugfix branch, documentation
branch, new features branches etc. - Pretty neat!
Also, while you're looking at my screenshot, you'll see that at some
stage I'm going to need to get the close and iconify buttons to be
themable. Have you ever had any thoughts about this?
