I tried under Opensuse ( and mandriva). I took all as say that link :

http://gnuradio.org/trac/wiki/UbuntuInstall#InstallationOptions 

but there are some dependancies who is not available...

i give you  a result when i'll be in right time

 I think we should consider to bump up the version requirement anyway, at
 least to 1.0
