As many of us have come to understand, the Cinelerra codebase is not
always willing to cooperate, and it frequently hangs and locks up.
It's hard to edit something wihout a hang, and it's hard to get
something out without a problem. You can do it if you're lucky, but I
have only been able to do it twice.

That is the point. To build a lean mean editing machine for this century. ;-)
