I'm Sean Burns, a CTO from New Orleans Louisiana. In the spirit of the old world film makers, the Lumiere brothers from which I believe this project is named; I have created an homage image to merge the creativity of old with the power of Linux open source.

Just subscribed to the mailing list and looking forward to helping about with graphic arts when the time comes. Reading the the mailing list archives it seems that a
 logo hasn't been chosen yet. I kinda like the circle theme that some have suggested. Here is something I came up with to add to the mix.
